  • Check in is at 15:00 or later

Operation is easy. Press the up arrow to raise or the down arrow to lower the shutter

The shutters reduce internal noise and provide blackout for a good night’s sleep as well as additional security/

TIPS and Trouble shooting

  • TIP 2: The Turkish internet is not fast, so you are liable to have issues if you run the Lounge TV and bedroom TVs at the same time.
  • TIP 3: In the event of a power cut or the picture sticking, please take the Power lead out of the back of the Main Router, wait approx. 60 seconds and replace. Then take the IPTV Firestick (plugged into back of TV, leave it disconnected for 15 seconds and then replace. This should reset the connection after a minute or so.
  • TIP 4: If, whilst booting up, you see the TV Screen with a Star showing {Shown with a red arrow in the picture), you can click on this to shortcut the process

If these instructions are followed correctly, you’ll be able to watch live football, keep up with the soaps, watch over 5,000 films and lots more…

Happy viewing!

PLEASE BE AWARE:

GENERAL:

If you can’t find anything, it’s likely to be in one of three places:

  • The cupboard on the terrace (combination lock code 1882)
  • In the chest of drawers under the TV
  • The wardrobe in the twin bedroom

TAXIS (Taksi):

We have printed some business cards with the apartment address on. Please take one out with you if you are using taxis, as not all drivers speak English.

  • One dependable company is Guven Taksi from Didim Centre – +90 256 813 6414
  • Call them and they will be with you quickly. Ask for an approximate price before booking and make sure which currency you are talking in. Turkish people are lovely, but this will avoid any surprises

CLEANING / HOUSEKEEPING

The apartment will be deep cleaned before your stay and this is included in the price you paid

Other visits, if required, can be organised via Belma Bozlak and paid for locally. Visits comprise clean towels, clean bedding, and general apartment cleaning (but not washing up). Please call Belma on 0090 532 545 0901 to arrange (£40 per visit)

SMOKING and VAPING:

Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the property, including outside on the terrace or by the door. Security cameras are monitored 24/7 and exist on the corner of every block.

NB: It is illegal to sell vapes in Turkey

NOISE:

Please, no loud noise or playing music outdoors after 10pm or by the pool. When coming home late, please be considerate of others trying to sleep. Thanks.

AIR CONDITIONING:

  • Please do not operate aircon when doors and windows are open as doing this may cause it to ice-up and you will be without aircon for a few days whilst it thaws.
  • Please do not leave aircon running whilst out. Both things help us avoid huge electricity bills.
  • All three air conditioning units also work as heaters. Use the remote to change the aircon to heat mode

BARBECUES:

Due to the smoke and smell, the rules of the complex do not allow BBQs on the terrace. Because of this, we have provided a George Foreman Smokeless electric grill so you can enjoy a bit of outdoor cooking. Please follow the instructions as, if done properly, the grill will not smoke and will not offend the complex management. Thanks for your understanding.

MUSIC:

There are three sets of bluetooth speakers which you can connect to to play your own music

To pair your device with the Bluetooth Speaker, simply Press the Speaker Power Button and hold for a second or two until the blue light flashes. • We have provided around 70 family games. They can be found in the lounge chest of drawers
  • There are also over 130 books on various bookshelves. Please feel free to borrow from these and leave any holiday books you finish. Thanks

  • It is customary to tip c.10%-12.5% in restaurants
  • In bars, you can leave the odd change round by round or else leave a tip at the end of the night.
  • Taxi tips are usually rounded up on top of the fare, so for example for a TL 50.25 fare, TL 60.00 would normally be paid, a 50p tip.
  • If you are pleased by the room cleaning/bed making, a tip for the cleaners is always appreciated.

USING A DOLMUS:

A Dolmus (shared Taxi on a fixed route) is a cheap and fun way to travel.

  • Walk to the main road
